Keep reviews to two choices: Again and Good.
This add-on removes Hard and Easy from the reviewer UI and remaps every passing answer to Good. In practice, that means:
Againstill means the card failed.- Any non-failing answer becomes
Good. - You keep a simple review flow with fewer decisions per card.
Why this can be useful
- Faster reviews: fewer buttons means less hesitation.
- Less grading drift: you do not need to decide between
Hard,Good, andEasy. - More consistent behavior: the same rule applies across review states.
Trade-offs
- You lose the extra signal from
HardandEasy. - If you use answer buttons as a fine-grained learning signal, this add-on removes that distinction.
- It deliberately favors consistency over nuance.
Notes
- The add-on follows Anki's hook-based add-on model.
- The package is kept minimal for AnkiWeb distribution.
- Compatibility has not been tested yet.
