Description

Anki Learning Curve adds a dashboard to the Tools menu that answers four questions about how you actually study, using nothing but your own review log. 1. Which weekdays do you remember best? True retention per weekday, plus a diagnosis panel: for the day you pick it lists measurable signals (review load, seconds per card, share of new and relearning cards, share of young cards, share of late-night reviews) and marks the ones that deviate strongly as likely causes. You can tick the causes that apply β€” including habits Anki can't measure, like poor sleep β€” and a recurrence map shows which ones keep coming back. 2. Is your daily new-card count helping or hurting? Efficiency = new cards per day Γ— the retention you actually got on them two weeks later. You get a weekly series, a breakdown by load range, and a recommendation of the range that worked best for you β€” computed only from ranges with enough data to be trustworthy. 3. How far are you from finishing? Mastery curve (a card counts as mastered once it first reaches an interval of 21 days) with the historical curve, a dashed projection, your current position and an ETA. Deck breakdown with estimated remaining time. 4. Which cards are costing you the most? The cards you keep failing, ranked by a smoothed failure rate so that 3 lapses out of 4 doesn't outrank 8 out of 15, next to the ones you have clearly won. It shows how much of your study time the hard ones eat. Click a card to open it in the browser. Other things it does Seven colour themes , including a fully editable one with a contrast check. Profile : your name and a photo in the top bar. Spanish and English , following Anki's own language setting. A thought for the day (Marcus Aurelius, Nietzsche) on the first opening of each Anki day. Example sentences : on the hard/won cards, clicking a word shows up to three sentences that contain it, taken from your own notes β€” including conjugated forms. Nothing is downloaded and no AI is involved. Deck selector at the top: every top-level deck, or all of them together. Extras for Japanese decks If your notes are tagged jlpt-n1 … jlpt-n5 , the mastery section gets a per-level breakdown. The example sentences work best with decks that carry an expression/sentence field (Core 2000 and similar). Neither is required: both disappear on decks that don't have them. Privacy Everything is computed locally from your collection. The add-on makes no network requests and sends nothing anywhere. Notes Requires a recent Anki (Qt6). Developed and tested on 26.05. Open it from Tools β†’ πŸ“Š Anki Analytics . Ctrl+R recomputes, Esc closes. A brand-new collection shows empty sections until you have review history; the weekday diagnosis needs at least 20 reviews on a day to judge it. Your settings (theme, name, ticked causes) live in the add-on config; your photo in user_files/ , so an update won't lose it.
