Deck Summary If you want to know what you need to know before doing a deck, instead of rawdogging the cards, this is supposed to provide you with all the content on a deck front and back in PDF form, which you can then use to generate a summary page using ChatGPT How it works The code should print the front and extra sections of anking cards, ignoring repeats, as an HTML or PDF file Configuration In the tools section of Anki, select generate summary, then select the deck/subdeck you’d like a summary of and the specific fields. If you want just front and back AnKing card content, select Text and Extra as your special fields Save in whatever folder you want, then feed it into whatever AI model you like to generate a summary Goal of this Add-on Familiarize yourself with the content you need to know, prior to doing the cards, so you reduce putting in too many “close enough” reps Caveat This doesn’t pull images out of the cards yet, but soon I hope it will be able to
