Anki Accent Popup – Education Perfect-Style Accent & Symbol Picker This add-on adds a modern accent and symbol picker to Anki, similar to Education Perfect and macOS. Hold a key to see alternate characters, then select them with number keys or by clicking. It works while: Reviewing cards Editing notes Creating new notes Using the browser editor No special keyboards needed. How to Use Hold a key to show variants (e.g. hold “e”). Release the key and the popup will stay open. Select a variant by: Pressing 1–0, -, =, `, [, ], or \ Clicking the character Press Esc to close the popup Typing another key automatically closes the popup. Greek Mode You can enable Greek Mode in the add-on settings (config.json): "greek_mode": true When Greek Mode is enabled, holding Latin letters shows Greek letters (e.g. a → α, p → π). Settings (config.json) enabled Turn the entire add-on on or off. enable_letter_variants Enable accented letters. enable_symbol_variants Enable math symbols and number variants. hold_letters_for_variants Require holding letters to show variants. hold_symbols_for_variants Require holding symbols/numbers to show variants. hold_delay_ms How long (in milliseconds) you must hold a key before the popup appears. greek_mode Enable Greek alphabet mode.
