Description

Anki Card Retirement Anki Card Retirement is an Anki add-on that automatically retires mature cards on startup. What It Does runs automatically when an Anki profile opens uses deck-specific retirement rules suspends only cards that are not already suspended tags the affected notes with !meta::retired by default adds a shared Moritz Add-ons -> Anki Card Retirement -> Settings menu entry Default Config { "deck_rules": [ { "deck": "Default", "interval_days": 365 } ], "retired_tag": "!meta::retired" } How It Works For each configured deck rule, the add-on runs a search like this: (deck:"Deck Name" or deck:"Deck Name::*") prop:ivl>=365 -is:suspended That means: the interval is Anki's review interval in days ( prop:ivl ) cards are retired when their interval is greater than or equal to the configured day value child decks are included automatically via deck:"Deck Name::*" already suspended cards are skipped Users can change the deck rules in the settings dialog with one rule per line: Deck Name | 365 Installation Install the add-on from AnkiWeb if a release is available, or install it manually from a packaged .ankiaddon file.
