Capture screenshots with X and paste copied text or images with C directly into a chosen Anki note field on macOS, preserving existing content and supporting undo.
Captures missed QBank questions, uses AI to find and re-rate matching cards as Again, then supports gap-based browsing and card creation.
Automatically resizes and aligns images pasted or drag-dropped into Anki's editor using configurable strategies, toolbar switching, and deck-specific defaults.
Turns selected or right-clicked URLs into resizable embedded web views in Anki notes, editable in the note editor and Browser, requiring Anki 25.09+.
Resizes card images to a configurable max width and crops fixed top/bottom pixels to hide slide headers or bars during review, non-destructively, with live preview and note-type targeting.
Adds visual Browser layouts, explorer-style navigation, tabs, drag-and-drop deck folders, colours, and a visual note-type manager with grid details, folders, and JSON import/export.
Firefox-style screenshots of any Anki web view: the reviewer, the card browser preview, the card layout preview, and add-on panels such as AMBOSS.
In Anki, open Tools > Add-ons > Get Add-ons and enter the code 171106637, or visit the AnkiWeb page.
Press Ctrl+Shift+S (Cmd+Shift+S on macOS) with the pointer over the web view you want to capture, or with keyboard focus in it.
The PNG is copied to the clipboard and saved under ~/Screenshots. Either can
be switched off, and both shortcuts changed, in the add-on's config.
Ctrl+Shift+D saves the whole page, scrolled content included, as a PDF.
Anki 23.10 or newer (Qt 6). Windows, macOS and Linux.
The picker is a small script injected into the page, so it sees the page's real element boxes and works at any zoom level or display scale. The capture itself is a Qt widget grab cropped to the chosen rectangle, so no OS-level screen capture permission is needed.
GNU AGPL v3 or later, like Anki itself.
