GritMap turns your daily reviews into a picture. Instead of guessing whether you've been consistent, you open Anki and see it — a full year of study laid out like a calendar, each day glowing brighter the more you did. 🔥
GritMap gives Anki the memory of your effort it's always been missing.
- 📅 A GitHub-style heatmap of every review, right on your deck list — a whole year at a glance.
- 🔍 Hover any day to see exactly how many cards you reviewed and when.
- 🖱️ Click a day to open those exact cards in the Browser — your past study, one tap away.
- 📊 Live stats: daily average, days studied, 30-day retention, current streak and longest streak.
- 🎨 Seven color themes (green, blue, purple, orange, red, rose, turquoise), light and dark aware.
- ⚙️ Tune cell size, corner rounding, weekly comparison and per-deck exclusions.
- 🌍 Fully localized — month names and labels follow your Anki language (51 languages).
How to use
- Install and restart Anki — the heatmap appears under your deck list automatically.
- Hover any cell to inspect that day; click it to open its cards.
- Use the ⚙️ button on the map (or Tools → Add-ons → GritMap → Config) to customize.
Settings
Go to Tools → Add-ons → GritMap → Config to customize the theme, cell size, corner radius, weekly comparison and excluded decks.
Compatibility
Tested on recent Anki (24.x–25.x). Primarily tested on Windows; please report anything off on Mac/Linux.
