Enables adding and editing Anki notes in extended CommonMark Markdown via editor fields or a separate window, with CodeMirror editing, extensions, and configurable conversion.
Hide or show the browser's table, editor, or sidebar, switch between table and editor views, and configure shortcuts to maximize the remaining component.
Provides a browser card info bar requiring shortcut configuration, with optional background colors for suspended or high-lapse cards and width/display settings for companion layout add-ons.
Moves the Browser editor from below the table to its right side, with a configurable shortcut, though its functionality is now built into Anki 2.1.55.
Opens field content in a TinyMCE-based dialog editor for advanced table editing, styling, merging cells, and borders, accessible via a TM button or configurable shortcut.
Shrinks Anki browser margins and sidebar spacing, with config options for smaller editor fields/fonts and optional image size and hover/click enlargement.

Anki addon (Github) to allow moving the browser card/note table to the sidebar to maximize the editor area by menu (Browser β View β Toggle table position) or shortcut (configurable, default Ctrl+Alt+Shift+B).
On first run it may be that the note/card table is not visible, if so try to find the splitter position at the bottom of the sidebar (look for when the cursor changes to "splitter") to adjust the splitter position (it is remembered between sessions).
The addon is not super well tested (for instance I don't know what happens if you rotate the screen) but it shouldn't break anything, just disable the addon.
The implementation is some rather hacky monkey patching but simple enough. Will likely break sooner or later but should be fairly simple to correct.
The above screenshot is achieved with Markdown input and CSS Injector - Change default editor styles with the following CSS:
