Existing players: your old farm does not carry over. Everyone starts fresh on a new farm. Nothing from the old add-on is read or migrated. If that isn't what you want, you can disable or delete this add-on and your Anki is untouched either way. The old game was a Qt window that could only run while Anki was open. The new one runs in your browser, looks far better, and keeps growing whether Anki is open or not — because your card count is what drives it. Getting started Sign in at https://www.recallrancher.com with Google or an email link Name your ranch Copy the token it shows you In Anki: Tools → Recall Rancher: Connect device… and paste it That's it. Answer a card and watch the clock move. What this add-on does It counts the cards you answer and sends the number to your farm. That is the whole job. It batches counts and delivers them in the background, retries when you're offline, and never double-counts a batch. If your farm is unreachable your cards are queued and delivered later — you lose nothing by studying on a plane. What it sends: how many cards you answered, and when. What it never sends: your decks, your cards, your answers, or how well you did. It cannot read them and does not try.
