Configurable mouse and trackpad hotkeys navigate Anki review, overview, and congratulations screens, with middle-click drag scrolling and deck browser access.
Assigns mouse buttons and scroll actions to answer, grade, or undo cards during Anki reviews, with separate question/answer mappings, long-press options, and quick toggling.
Control Anki reviews with any gamepad: map buttons to 28 actions, open live config, and rate, reveal, undo, and more without keyboard or mouse.
Controls Anki reviews hands-free using customizable head and hand gestures for answering, scrolling, and other actions, with calibration, sensitivity, shortcuts, and camera preview.
Enables reviewing Anki cards with the mouse wheel: scroll forward to undo the previous action, backward to show the answer in question mode or answer Good in review mode.
Automatically rates Anki reviews by answer time while adding mouse hotkeys, with easy/hard scoring optionally disabled and compatibility with Color Confirmation.

After cloning the project, run the following command to install ankiaddonconfig as a git submodule.
git submodule update --init --recursive
This project uses [black], mypy, and [pytest].
black .
mypy .
# pytest . (pytest no longer works)
You will need to install the following python packages to run black, mypy and pytest
pip install aqt PyQt6 mypy black pytest
You may need to uninstall pyqt5-stubs for mypy to work correctly.
After cloning the repo, go into the repo directory and run the following command to install the git submodule ankiaddonconfig
git submodule update --init --remote addon/ankiaddonconfig
After installing the git submodule, run the following command to create an review_hotmouse.ankiaddon file
cd addon ; zip -r ../review_hotmouse.ankiaddon * ; cd ../
