Plays configurable answer-button sound effects, adds typing-error sounds, ambient music, volume/delay controls, and extra sound-folder support in Anki.
Plays Anki media via mpv with configurable window geometry, subtitles, start/end/length segments, and Advanced Answer Sounds compatibility.
Automatically advances Anki reviews by waiting for audio, showing answers, selecting Hard/Good, flipping cards, and repeating or adjusting audio speeds with shortcuts and configurable modes.
Flips cards when native audio/video playback ends, with configurable deck settings, Ctrl+J automation toggle, and space/enter to stop the timer or advance cards.
Plays a different beep depending on how you answer, delays next card audio for reliable beeping, with a toggle and compatibility caveats, though one behavior remains TODO FIXME.
Plays Kahoot lobby music on card fronts, answer-reveal sounds on backs, and correct/incorrect sounds after Anki ratings, with streak pitch changes and selectable thinking-sound categories.
This Anki add-on is a fixed version of Advanced Answer Sounds. Linux and Mac support has been added. (beta)
choice_simpleaudio.py workWhen the Add-on is launched, it identifies the device and version, overwrites the necessary files and saves them.
I used this to create each wheel (Github Actions):
It would be ideal to put each wheel in the add-on and decompress it but the size is too large so I split it up and it becomes the spaghetti code🍝
Mac and Linux support python3.9 Linux is Python 3.9-3.13, if the Anki version of Python changes it will be broken and the code will need to be fixed.
I don't yet test it on all devices so I don't know if it works well.
