Motivation Reminders (Anki Add-on)
Behaviour
- Shows an image/GIF in the bottom-left corner of the Anki window.
Install (local)
- Zip the
Anki-Motivational-Reminders-Add-On/folder and rename the zip toAnki-Motivational-Reminders-Add-On.ankiaddon. - In Anki: Tools → Add-ons → Install from file… → select the
.ankiaddon. - Restart Anki.
Configure
Tools → Add-ons → Motivation Reminders → Config
Key options:
- cards_range_min / cards_range_max: inclusive range of cards between reminders (default 10–20)
- image_dir: absolute path to your image folder
- random_image: true = random image, false = sequential
- count_mode: "answer" (after rating) or "show" (when question appears)
Supported formats: jpg, png, webp, bmp, gif
