ogg2mp3
Anki add-on. iOS cannot play ogg, oga, or opus, and mining tools (Yomitan, subs2srs) save whatever bytes their audio source serves — so unplayable audio leaks into collections one card at a time.
Before every sync, this add-on finds notes referencing ogg-family audio,
converts the files to mp3 with ffmpeg, rewrites the [sound:...] tags, and
trashes the originals. Your phone only ever sees mp3. A manual trigger lives
at Tools > "Convert ogg audio to mp3".
Requirements
- ffmpeg on PATH
- Anki 2.1.50+
Configuration
search— Anki query scoping which notes are touched (default: whole collection, e.g."deck:General")delete_originals— trash source files after conversion (default true)
