Description

THIS GAME IS A WORK IN PROGRESS AND WILL HAVE MANY MANY BUGS Realm Empires Realm Empires is a Civilization-style strategy game played through your Anki reviews. Over the course of about a week, you and other players each grow an empire from a single city by founding new cities, exploring the map, researching technology, building wonders and claiming land. All of it is powered by your studying. The cards you answer produce production, food, science, gold and culture, and your units move as you review. How it works Every review earns resources for your empire, including reviews done on your phone or AnkiWeb once your collection syncs. Resources are scaled to how many reviews you usually do, so players with very different workloads can compete fairly. A small readout on the review screen shows what your reviews are earning as you study. Ways to win Science: research to the end of the tech tree and complete a Global Clinical Trial. Renown: build up far more culture than any other player. Frontier: claim and hold a set amount of land, which takes steady reviewing to keep. The first player to reach any victory wins. If time runs out, the player closest to a victory wins. Playing with others Create a game and share its code with friends. Games support 2 to 6 players and last 5 to 14 days. Computer opponents on Easy, Normal or Hard can fill open seats, or you can play against them on your own.
