Audio Extractor from Selected Cards This add-on allows you to batch-export audio files from your Anki collection to an external folder. It’s perfect for users who want to use their Anki audio on external players, for further processing, or for organized study outside of Anki. Features Batch Export: Copy audio from all selected cards at once. Deep Scan: Automatically searches through every field of the selected notes for [sound:...] references. Optional Prefixes: Choose to add a numeric prefix (e.g., 00001_ , 00002_ ) based on the card's position in your selection to keep the files in a specific order. (audios from the same card get the same prefix) Smart Duplication Handling: Prevents redundant copies within the same card. Native File Picker: Use your OS explorer to choose exactly where the files should go. How to Use Open the Anki Browser (press B ). Select the cards you want to extract audio from. Go to the Edit menu in the top bar. Click on "Selection: Export Audio" . Choose your destination folder in the popup window. Decide on formatting: A dialog will ask if you want to add the selection position as a prefix to the filenames. The add-on will track down the files in your collection.media folder and copy them for you. Installation In Anki, go to Tools -> Add-ons . Click Get Add-ons... Enter the code provided on the AnkiWeb page. Restart Anki. Support The add-on uses standard Anki libraries and requires no external dependencies. Compatible with Windows, macOS, and Linux.
