Anki DeepL Translation Add-on

An Anki add-on that allows users to translate fields in their Anki notes using the DeepL API.

Installation

Clone this repository or download the ZIP file.
Extract the contents to your Anki addons21 folder.
- On Windows: C:\Users\<YourUserName>\AppData\Roaming\Anki2\addons21
- On macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Anki2/addons21
- On Linux: ~/.local/share/Anki2/addons21
Restart Anki to activate the add-on.

Usage

Start Anki.
Navigate to Tools > Translate Fields.
Enter your DeepL API key.
Select the deck you want to translate fields for.
Choose the field to translate and the target field for the translated content.
Select the source and target languages.
The add-on will translate the selected fields and update the target field with the translated content.

Sign up for a DeepL API account at DeepL.
Obtain your API key from your DeepL account.
