Description

Keep one block of shared text in sync across many related notes. Write a block once — a list of key/value pairs plus the field used to match notes — then press Update. The add-on finds every note whose field matches a key and rewrites the same block there. How it works Put the caret in a field and press Insert (Ctrl+Shift+I). A blank template is inserted and the field's HTML editor opens. Fill in the block: names the field used to match notes, each is the value a target note holds in that field, and is the content to push to it. Put the caret back inside the block and press Insert again to append more items. Press Update (Ctrl+Shift+U). Every replacement is listed for review before anything is written, and one Ctrl+Z undoes the whole batch. Safety Nothing is written until you confirm. The preview lists every note, field and offset that will change, with per-note checkboxes. Only the block itself is rewritten. Other text in the same field, and other blocks, are preserved byte for byte. Every span is re-verified immediately before writing, so a stale offset is skipped rather than corrupting a field. The whole batch is a single undo entry. Configuration — search scope, case sensitivity, shortcuts, and UI language (English / 中文 / 日本語). See Tools → Add-ons → Config. Requires Anki 2.1.50 or newer.
