Description

This add-on is only available for Anki 2.1.45+. For older versions a download is shown but you'll only get an empty add-on that doesn't work. This is a fork of Duplicate and Reorder (the version form 2021-11-23 for Anki 2.1.45+). You should prefer this original add-on because my add-on is much less tested. Since it manipulates the anki database an error in my add-on could permanently damage your collection. If you don't know how to help yourself in such a case do not install or use this add-on. You need the advanced browser add-on installed and in this add-on changed the add-on settings so that "Show internal fields" is set to `true`. Then restart Anki. My add-on only works if in the browser you are in the notes mode and if you have sorted your browser by the note creation time, e.g. right click the heading of the table in the browser and you should see the columns you have/can add. enable "Advanced -> Created Time (Note)" and sort by it. Only then you have context menu entries that you can use. My fork adds three features: - support for the advanced browser add-on - you can directly set a new noteid - when moving notes through the browser table the nids of neighboring notes are not just switched but for the note-id moved a new note is calculated: e.g. you see two notes in the table A created: 2020-01-01:12:00:00 B created: 2022-01-01:12:00:00 You click to move the note B up. With redgis version (unless you enable the option "**experimental** Unchanged Note Ids" in the version from mid 2022, see here ) you'll get: B created: 2020-01-01:12:00:00 A created: 2022-01-01:12:00:00 With my fork you'll get B created: 2020-01-01:11:59:50 A created: 2020-01-01:12:00:00 I uploaded this fork as a separate add-on for multiple reasons: Mainly that my code is not well tested. I uploaded it early so that hopefully others find and fix or at least report bugs. If you use this fork please let me know about bugs you find by clicking the "Contact Author" button in the upper right of this window. If this add-on works well for some time and has some downloads I can submit a pull request to the original creator. the add-on note organizer FORK (fake/change note creation times) and duplicate notes, fake nid, insert empty notes offer similar functionality.
