Anki Streak Bot keeps a daily study streak from your Anki reviews and sends reminders on Telegram. A day counts when you review at least your daily goal (default 20 cards), across every deck. Morning and evening reminders fire only if you have not hit the goal yet. Goal, timezone, and reminder times are set in Telegram, not in Anki. Works on Anki Desktop only. You need Telegram and an internet connection so the add-on can report counts. Setup Install the add-on and restart Anki. Open Tools → Anki Streak. Click Get connection code. Codes expire after 15 minutes. Click Open Telegram bot, or Copy code and send /start YOUR-CODE to @anki_streak_bot. Confirm the timezone Anki detected, or send a new one such as Europe/Berlin. Set your daily goal with /goal (for example /goal 30). After that, study as usual. The add-on reports on its own. Everyday use Progress syncs when Anki starts, after you answer cards (about a minute after you stop), after an AnkiWeb sync, when Anki closes, and whenever you press Sync now. Tools → Anki Streak shows whether Telegram is connected, today’s reported count, the last sync, and any error. In Telegram, send /status for streak, today’s progress, and settings. Reminders default to 08:00 and 22:00 in your timezone. They are skipped on days you already met the goal. /pause stops reminders without stopping the streak; /resume turns them back on. For each day the highest reported count is used, not the sum. What counts Reviews from the review log, on local calendar days. Manual entries and reschedules are ignored. The add-on does not use Anki’s “next day starts at” cutoff; the day follows your Telegram timezone. There are no streak freezes and no celebration pop-ups. /status is how you see that you finished the day. Privacy The add-on never sends cards, notes, decks, AnkiWeb credentials, or individual review records. It only sends daily review counts, timezone, Anki version, add-on version, and a random install ID. There is no email or password.
