Subdeck Manager is a helpful tool for Anki that lets you manage big decks. You can break a large deck into smaller subdecks to make studying easier. When you are finished, you can combine the subdecks back into the main deck.

Have a huge deck you want to break into smaller parts? Maybe for weekly study or different topics? Doing this by hand is slow and messy.
Subdeck Manager does all the work for you. In a few clicks, you can split a big deck into equal parts. When you're done, you can combine them back together just as easily. It's a great tool for students and language learners who want to organize their decks.
01, 06, etc.).From the Anki main screen, click the gear icon (βοΈ) next to the deck you want to split. Choose "Split or Distribute..." from the menu.

The tool will open with your deck already selected.

The text on the "OK" button will tell you what will happen (like "Create 5 Subdecks"). Click it to start.

Click the gear icon (βοΈ) next to the main deck that holds your subdecks. Choose "Merge Subdecks...". (This button only shows up if there are subdecks inside).

A small window will open. Check the box if you want to delete the empty subdecks after you merge. You will be asked to confirm.

All cards from the subdecks will be moved back into the main deck.
