Description

Quizlet Learn Mode Mimic for Anki An Anki add-on that mimics Quizlet's popular Learn Mode interface, guiding you through a progressive series of learning phases (Multiple Choice, True/False, Written/Typing, and Matching Game) directly within Anki. Features Progressive Learning Phases : Card progression matches Quizlet's flow. Newly learned cards progress through: Multiple Choice (Phase 1) True / False (Phase 2) Written / Typing (Phase 3) Matching Game (Phase 4) Cloze Note Types Support : Full support for Anki Cloze notes ( {{c1::...}} ). Prompts render [...] (or [hint] ) and target the hidden text. Distractors for cloze cards are dynamically harvested from other cloze deletions across your deck and collection for contextual multiple choice options. Multi-Note Type Tabbed Configuration : If your deck contains cards from multiple note types (e.g., Basic, Cloze, Vocabulary), the configuration dialog provides a dynamic tab for each Note Type so you can configure field mappings and audio options independently. Dynamic Field Companion & TTS Naming : Group box titles and TTS voice labels dynamically reflect your selected field names in real time (e.g., Arabic Companions , English Companions , Arabic Voice: ). Interactive Matching Game (Phase 4) : Play Quizlet's classic tile matching game! Configure 4, 6, 8, or 12 pairs per round. Tiles flash green and dissolve on match or flash red on mismatch. Tile Audio Playback in Matching Game : Clicking any prompt or answer tile in the matching grid immediately plays its associated audio (both embedded [sound:...] tags from fields/companions and configured Text-to-Speech voices!). Dynamic Field & Companion Mapping : Map prompt and answer fields dynamically. Enable companion fields to display supplemental text or play audio alongside prompts or answers. Question Types Selector : Enable or disable any question types (Multiple Choice, True/False, Written, Matching Game) in the configuration panel. Unselected question types will be skipped dynamically. Native Text-To-Speech (TTS) : Choose system voices for Prompt and/or Answer text per note type. TTS plays natively through Anki's audio system, includes replay buttons, and dynamically handles voice swapping when session study direction is reversed (e.g. studying Answer → Prompt). Multiple Choice TTS Play Buttons : Optional play buttons are displayed to the right of multiple choice options when Answer TTS is enabled, allowing you to hear options spoken before choosing. Written Retype Assistance : If you mistype a term, select Retype to clear the input and display the correct answer in a greyed-out placeholder format so you can practice copying it exactly. Collapsible Layout & Saved Preferences : The configuration window keeps options collapsible and compact. All preferences are loaded on launch and saved natively to Anki upon starting a session.
