wanikanisync

WaniKani to Anki syncronisation add-on. With this add-on you can generate:

  • Kanji note type
  • Vocabulary note type
  • Kanji deck
  • Vocabulary deck

The decks can contain notes up to the level you've already achieved in WaniKani.

How to use it

  1. Create a folder in the addons21 folder of the Anki application.
  2. Copy the files in this folder.
  3. Start Anki and select the Tools/Add-ons menu.
  4. Select the WaniKani Syncroniser and at least set the WaniKani v2 API key.
  5. Restart Anki.
  6. Select the Tools/WaniKani Syncroniser.

The note types are compatible with the following add-ons:

  • Japanese support: https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/3918629684
  • Kanji Colorizer (stroke order diagrams): https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/1964372878. If you generate the stroke order diagrams then Kanji note will utilize a new stroke order card.
