Description

Multi Filtered Deck Creator From Tags Create multiple filtered decks in one operation from a simple list of tags. This Anki add-on lets you quickly generate a filtered deck for each tag you provide. Every line in the input becomes a child filtered deck under a parent deck, with configurable card ordering, limits, preview behavior, and rescheduling options. How It Works Enter a main deck name . If it does not already exist, it will be created automatically. Enter one tag per line . Each tag becomes its own filtered deck. Configure options such as card order, card limit, preview delays, and rescheduling. Click Create Filtered Decks . Filtered decks are named: {MainDeck}::{TagSuffix} TagSuffix is either: the full tag, or only the last portion after :: when Use last portion is enabled. Unsuspended Cards Filtered decks only include cards that match their search query. Suspended cards are excluded by Anki. Unsuspend Before Create Enable Unsuspend matching cards before creating filtered deck to automatically include suspended cards. For each tag, the add-on: Searches for suspended cards matching the tag. Unsuspends those cards. Creates the filtered deck. This saves you from manually unsuspending cards before studying them. Example Collection: #Cardiology 100 cards (20 suspended) #Neurology 80 cards (10 suspended) Without the option enabled: Main::Cardiology β†’ 80 cards With the option enabled: Unsuspend 20 cards ↓ Main::Cardiology β†’ 100 cards Reschedule vs Preview Mode Reschedule Mode When Reschedule cards based on my answers is enabled: Reviews affect scheduling normally. Due dates are updated according to your answers. Cards remain in the filtered deck until it is emptied or rebuilt. Preview Mode When rescheduling is disabled (default): Again β€” card returns after the configured Again delay (default: 1 hour). Hard β€” card returns after the configured Hard delay (default: 4 hours). Good β€” card returns to its original deck, or after the configured Good delay if one is specified. Preview mode is useful when you want to review cards without changing their schedule. Additional Search The Additional search field appends extra search terms to every tag. Examples: is:new is:due -is:suspended is:new -is:suspended Each tag search is combined using AND logic. Example: tag:"#Cardiology" is:new -is:suspended Highlights Create dozens or hundreds of filtered decks in a single operation. One tag per line. Optionally use only the last portion of hierarchical tags ( :: ) for deck names. Configure card order and maximum cards per deck. Choose between preview mode and normal rescheduling. Automatically unsuspend matching cards before deck creation. Create filtered decks directly from selected Browser tags. All defaults are stored in config.json and editable from the Add-ons configuration. Quick Start Install the add-on. Open Tools β†’ Create Multiple Filtered Decks... Enter a main deck name. Paste one tag per line, for example: #Cardiology #Step2::#AMBOSS::-taDTm Configure the desired options. Click Create Filtered Decks . A filtered deck will be created for every tag entered.
