Description

Window Resizer (Select & Presets) Provides flexible ways to resize and position Anki's main window. Define window layouts precisely by selecting an area on your screen, or save and load your favorite layouts as named presets. Features Resize via Screen Selection: Activate an overlay using the menu item or shortcut ( Ctrl+Alt+R ). Click and drag on any screen to define the desired window bounds. Visual guidelines assist selection. Right-click or press Esc to cancel selection. Window Resizing: Anki's main window resizes/moves to the selected or preset geometry. Automatically adjusts the final size/position to fit within the target screen's available area (respects taskbars etc.). Handles restoring the window from maximized/fullscreen states before resizing. Preset Management: Save the main window's current size and position as a named preset. Load saved presets from a dynamic submenu. Manage (delete) presets easily. Menu Integration: Adds options under Anki's Tools menu: Resize Window via Selection... (Shortcut: Ctrl+Alt+R ) Save Current Window Size... Load Window Size Preset (Submenu with saved presets) Manage Presets... How to Use Select Area: Go to Tools -> Resize Window via Selection... or press Ctrl+Alt+R . Click and drag the desired window area on your screen, then release. Save Preset: Arrange the main Anki window as desired, then go to Tools -> Save Current Window Size... and give it a name. Load Preset: Go to Tools -> Load Window Size Preset and click the name of a previously saved preset. Manage Presets: Go to Tools -> Manage Presets... to delete unwanted presets. Compatibility Requires Anki version 2.1.50 or later (uses PyQt6).
