Description

An Anki add-on that exports and imports note type definitions (front HTML, back HTML, CSS, and field metadata) to/from plain text files on disk, organized in a clean directory hierarchy. Features Hierarchy Mirroring : Note types using :: hierarchy (e.g. Languages::English::Vocab ) are mirrored directly as nested subdirectories on disk ( Languages/English/Vocab/ ). Selective Export & Search : Interactive dialog with real-time search filtering, allowing you to select exactly which note types to export. Clean Overwrite & Sync : Cleanly replaces outdated files and removes obsolete card templates when re-exporting to existing folders. Round-trip Import Engine : Edit templates with your preferred code editor / IDE on disk, then import them directly back into Anki ( Tools -> Import Note Types ), with support for updating existing note types, detecting unchanged templates, or creating new ones. Lossless Synchronization : Uses .name and .id metadata files to ensure exact character restoration and note type matching even when folders are renamed on disk.
