Description

Deckify Turn a topic or your study notes into Anki flashcards, then review and edit them before adding them to your deck. Deckify uses your own API key to generate cards directly inside Anki Desktop. Choose a deck, describe what you’re studying, and decide how many cards you want. Features Generate 1–100 cards in question-and-answer, cloze, or mixed format. Add learning objectives, course details, difficulty, and output language. Choose question styles such as recall, explanation, comparison, and application. Edit questions, answers, explanations, and tags before importing. Exclude unwanted cards or regenerate selected ones without changing the rest. Preview the question and answer as they’ll appear in Anki. Check for duplicate and similar prompts in your destination deck. Add accepted cards in one batch, with a single undo step. Two ways to study Use only my material Paste your notes or source text. Each card must include an excerpt that matches your material, with its location recorded. Matching an excerpt confirms where it came from - it doesn’t guarantee the answer is correct. Use general knowledge Enter a topic and any learning objectives. Cards generated this way are labelled as not source-verified. Provider support Deckify supports OpenAI and OpenAI-compatible services, including compatible local servers. Model support varies by provider. You’ll need your own API key unless your local server allows requests without one. Provider usage may incur charges. Privacy Requests go directly to your chosen provider. Deckify does not require an account or use a developer-operated server, and it has no telemetry. Existing deck contents stay local during duplicate checks. Keys can be saved in Windows Credential Manager or kept for the current profile session. Getting started After installing and restarting Anki: Open Tools → Generate revision cards… Configure your provider under Connection settings… Choose a deck and enter your topic or material. Generate, review, and add the cards you want. Compatibility and limitations Tested on Anki 25.09.3 with Qt 6 on Windows . Other versions and operating systems have not yet been verified. Generated cards use standard Anki templates and remain usable without Deckify. Mobile rendering has not yet been tested. Please check generated cards for accuracy before studying them. Similarity warnings are text-based and may flag distinct questions. This release accepts pasted text; PDF import, OCR, and media generation are not included.
