SHSU-COM Dashboard

I made this to keep our SHSU-COM class deck organized around the lectures we're covering. Pick a course, check the lectures you're ready to study, and open its exam deck. The Dashboard handles filing the cards so you can spend less time sorting tags. Open the How-To Guide (PDF) for a full walkthrough with current screenshots. Getting started In desktop Anki, open Tools → Add-ons → Get Add-ons and enter 138643721 . Restart Anki, then follow setup to install the class cards, choose a theme, and pick your block. Let the images download. They're about 7 GB , and you can pause and resume. If pictures are missing, start with SHSU → Image help . Already have AnKing? Merge uses matching cards and keeps their review history. It shows a preview before making changes. Import separately leaves AnKing alone and adds class copies with fresh progress. Both options are under SHSU → Setup and repair . Check lectures, then study Open the Dashboard from the SHSU mark or Ctrl+Alt+D . Choose your block and course. Check the lectures you want, then study SHSU Exams → [Course] Exam . Clicking a lecture's name opens its cards in Browse without changing the check. Leave lectures checked while preparing for the exam. Changing blocks keeps your active exams. With the default settings, checking a lecture wakes its eligible cards. New cards added later to checked lectures wake too. Existing saved choices are kept; adjust these switches in Settings → Reviewing . Current Dashboard, shown with example lectures and counts. After the exam: select that course and click Finish exam… . Its checks clear, and cards return home or to another active course that still needs them. Unstudied cards and your selected After Exams categories are suspended. Review history stays. DONT CLICK FINISH EXAM UNTIL YOU HAVE FINISHED YOUR EXAM <3 A few useful extras Hard cards: open the course exam, choose a difficulty cutoff, and click Pull to Hard . Return to the parent exam and click Return them when you're done. AI study help: Explain, Remember, and Test me use ChatGPT or Claude in a sidebar. Sign in with your own account; no API key is needed. The prompt includes card text, not images. Review the pasted message and send it yourself. Lecture and exam tools also offer study sheets and quizzes. Reports: use ! on a card, or Reports → Send feedback… for a bug or idea. Follow replies in My reports ; no separate report account is needed. Settings and Resources: adjust retention, review limits, themes, backgrounds, and home widgets. Resources has the guide, books, shared files, and optional Lab Values. Updates and other devices SHSU → Update class deck gets published class material. Anki's normal Sync carries your own reviews, cards, and images between devices. Tools → Add-ons → Check for Updates updates the Dashboard. Restart Anki afterward. The Dashboard runs on desktop Anki. Prepare your exam decks there, finish collection and media sync, then sync your phone or tablet and study normally. If you use two computers, keep the add-on updated on both. Need help?
