Description

Unofficial: not made by or affiliated with Baylor College of Medicine, AnKing or AnkiHub. The lecture list is one student's: the AnKing cards Jerry, an MS1 at BCM, picks for each lecture he has. Use it if you want your cards to follow his. For BCM students who use the AnkiHub version of the AnKing Step Deck ("AnKing Overhaul for Step 1 & 2"). After each lecture, it gets added to the list. This add-on applies that list in your Anki: unsuspends each lecture's cards files them into numbered lecture subdecks under your AnKing deck, in class-schedule order (e.g. AnKing Step Deck β€Ί CRR β€Ί 01 W1 Lung Structure and Function) puts the new cards in lecture order, so you learn the lectures in the order they were taught adds !Lecture:: tags How it works: install it and restart Anki. A window opens with the BCM lectures and one button, "Add all lectures". Untick any you don't want first, if you like. Nothing changes until you click. After that, when a lecture gets added, Anki asks when it starts (Add it / Show me / Not now), or adds it without asking if you choose that. When he changes a lecture you already have (adds cards to it, or takes some off), your home screen offers an Update: it adds the new cards and suspends again only the cards it had added that you haven't studied yet (automatic if you chose that). Your Anki home screen shows a one-line summary under your decks: new lectures waiting, or how much of your lecture cards you've studied and what's due today. Tools β€Ί BCM Lecture Unsuspender and Organizer… opens the full view: every lecture with its status and a progress bar. Double-click a lecture to study it. Made to stay out of your way: It never deletes cards, and it only ever suspends cards it unsuspended itself. Cards you studied and then suspended stay suspended (unless you turn on the option to include them). Cards in subdecks you made stay where they are. A lecture you suspend yourself stays suspended. Lectures you untick or skip are never added later, and it only ever asks about lectures that are new since you last looked. Every change is one step in Edit β€Ί Undo, and the window offers Undo right after a change. To remove a lecture later, untick it and click Remove. "Remove everything this add-on did" (under Options) puts it all back, including your new-card order. Your review history is kept. Deleting the add-on offers to put everything back first. Needs the AnkiHub AnKing Step Deck: cards are matched by their AnkiHub ID, so they are the same cards in everyone's copy. It only downloads from GitHub: the lecture list and a few tiny files. It never sends anything about you or your cards. Already have the earlier version that was shared as a file? Installing this one switches that off and keeps your settings.
