Description

Does answering fast mean you actually knew it โ€” or that you skipped the recall and pressed Good on a feeling of familiarity? This add-on answers that from your own review history. It walks every pair of consecutive reviews of the same card and asks: when you pressed Good or Easy unusually fast, how often did you fail that card the next time? Crucially it shows that next to the opposite case โ€” how often you failed after a slow correct answer. Two columns, not one. If the two rates are the same, speed tells you nothing about your memory. If the left is higher, fast answers are fooling you. If the right is higher, the cards you have to think hard about are the fragile ones. Tools โ†’ Confident But Wrong โ€” Report shows a per-deck table plus the individual cards it happens to most. Tools โ†’ Confident But Wrong โ€” Show in Browser opens those cards in the Browser so you can rewrite or reformulate them. How "fast" is defined. Less than 0.6ร— the median answer time of that deck , so a deck of long sentence cards is not judged against a deck of single kanji. Reviews less than 12 hours apart are ignored, because a same-day repeat is a learning step, not recall. Manual reschedules are excluded. Cards sitting in a filtered deck are counted under their home deck. It is read-only. It only runs SELECT queries. It never changes a card's due date, interval, ease or review count, and it never adds, edits or deletes notes. All thresholds are adjustable in the add-on's config.
