Description

⚠️ REQUIRES THE ANKING STEP 1/2 DECK. This add-on is built specifically for AnKing cards and will not display stats for other decks. AnKing Study Analytics adds a full suite of study tools on top of Anki's built-in stats β€” a personalized weakness tracker, a daily exam planner, per-card stats in the reviewer, and more. STATS PAGE β€” 7 New Stat Cards Seven new cards are injected into Anki's stats page, each configurable by time range (Today / Last 7 Days / Last 30 Days / All Time / Custom): β€’ Top Review Targets β€” Cross-resource "greatest hits" list. Deduplicates similar topics across all resources using Jaccard similarity so the same concept doesn't appear five times under different resource names. β€’ Weakest Topics (Overall) β€” Your riskiest system + subcategory combinations ranked by a retention-weighted risk score, regardless of which resource the cards come from. β€’ Boards & Beyond Weakest Chapters β€’ First Aid Weakest Chapters β€’ SketchyPharm Weakest Categories β€’ SketchyMicro Weakest Categories β€’ Pathoma Weakest Sections Each card shows: top 5 entries, retention % per entry, estimated review time, and a direct Browse link to open those cards in the browser. Click any entry to open the Anki browser pre-filtered to that chapter. RESOURCE-FILTERED CARD COUNTS A dropdown added to Anki's native Card Counts box lets you filter the pie chart by resource β€” All Cards, Boards & Beyond, First Aid, Pathoma, Sketchy Pharm, or Sketchy Micro. Switching resources replaces the native pie chart with a custom-rendered one using Anki's exact color palette and entry animation. EXAM PLANNER A full exam planning system accessible from the Exam menu: β€’ Set exam name, date, study start date, and buffer days β€’ Choose AnKing Step 1 or Step 2 β€’ Select which of 14 organ systems to include β€’ Select which resources to include (B&B, FA, Pathoma, Sketchy Pharm, Sketchy Micro) β€’ Set your resource study order (e.g. B&B β†’ Sketchy β†’ FA β†’ Pathoma) β€’ Create custom study groups with configurable resource ordering β€’ A persistent banner in the deck browser shows: countdown to exam, today's recommended chapters, overall progress bar, and a one-click Unsuspend button The daily recommendation engine respects your resource order β€” it won't bleed into First Aid chapters while you still have B&B content to cover. Recommendations reset at your configured Anki day start time (e.g. 4 AM). Once you've reviewed today's quota, the banner shows "Done for today" instead of recommending more. PER-CARD STATS BUTTON A floating button appears in the reviewer after every card is answered. Clicking it opens a popup showing: β€’ Retention % for this card β€’ Total reviews, lapses, current interval β€’ Ease rating (Critical / Low / Below Average / Good / Strong) β€’ Dot-history chart of recent reviews β€’ Chapter-level retention β€” how the whole chapter is performing β€’ Average answer time vs. chapter average β€’ Action buttons: Suspend, Bury, Tag as Leech, Browse This Card, Browse Entire Chapter The chapter shown is whichever of the card's tagged resources has the highest proportion of unsuspended cards β€” so it always shows you the most relevant context. REVIEW RISK SORTING Available from the Tools menu: re-orders your due cards by calculated retention risk score, either highest-risk first or lowest-risk first. Risk is calculated as a weighted function of miss rate and total review volume. BROWSER INTEGRATION β€’ "Add to Exam Group" button in the card browser's toolbar β€” tag selected cards into a named exam study group without leaving the browser β€’ Clicking a chapter in the exam banner opens the browser filtered to that chapter's suspended cards for quick unsuspending DECK BROWSER β€’ Exam countdown banner with daily chapter targets, progress bar, and unsuspend button β€’ Unique card count in the daily stats line (deduped across decks) Compatibility: Requires Anki 2.1.55 or later. Tested on Windows and macOS. If you find bugs or have feature requests, please use the support thread below rather than leaving a low rating β€” I'm actively maintaining this add-on and happy to fix issues quickly.
