Anki AI Split Screen integrates a side-by-side LLM chatbot interface directly into your Anki workflow to help you break down complex concepts as you review. The add-on features a customizable layout menu under the "Tools" tab that allows you to easily toggle the chat dock, move it to the left or right side of your screen, and show or hide a resize handle for a perfect fit. You can select from different AI models, including Gemini, Claude, Copilot, Perplexity, or more (request any you like in the comments and I'll add it). It's the same as having split windows of Anki and AI in a browser, but it's full screen so you get distracted less.
