Description

A Pomodoro timer that runs on your review screen while you study. Focus, short break and long break lengths are all configurable, and the timer cycles through them automatically. You can drag it anywhere on screen, resize it, and it follows Anki's light or dark theme. There's an optional pause penalty that adds time to your session if you step away mid-focus, plus a keyboard shortcut to start or pause from anywhere in the main window. When a break starts, a screen covers the card so a stray keypress can't answer something you can't see. It shows stats from the session you just finished: cards done, retention, time per card, your Again/Hard/Good/Easy split, and how many cards (and roughly how many sessions) are left in the deck. There's also Minesweeper, Snake and a daily word game built in for breaks, and messages that rotate between inspirational, Islamic, "roast," and trivia (or your own, if you write some). New in 2.0: a focus coach watches how your reviews are going. If your accuracy and speed both drop mid-session, it suggests taking your break early; if you're still sharp near the end, it offers five more minutes. Over a few days it tells you when your focus usually starts to slip. Prayer-time pauses are off by default. Turn them on and it calculates prayer times offline from your location, using whichever method you prefer (MWL, ISNA, Umm al-Qura, Karachi, and a few others), then pauses your reviews when the time comes. You can add a heads-up before each pause, an "I've prayed" button to end it early, and adjust each prayer by a few minutes if your local mosque runs slightly different times. Settings live under Tools β†’ Steady Pomodoro β†’ Settings, or you can edit the config file directly.
