Description

Image Resize & Crop automatically adjusts images on your Anki cards during review β€” no template editing required. Built for students using PowerPoint or lecture slide screenshots as cloze cards, it solves two common problems: images that are too wide for the card, and recurring header/footer bars cluttering every screenshot. What it does: Resizes images to a configurable max width (default 85%) so they fit cleanly without overflowing the card layout Crops top and bottom by a fixed pixel amount β€” perfect for permanently removing slide headers, footers, or black bars from screenshots. Pixel values are measured against the original image and scale automatically to any screen size. Targets specific note types β€” only the note types you choose are affected. Image Occlusion cards are completely safe unless you explicitly add them. Live preview β€” sliders in the settings panel update the current card in real time as you drag, so you can dial in the perfect crop without guessing. Non-destructive β€” all changes happen in-memory during review only. Your actual card data and images are never modified. Settings are accessible via Tools β†’ Image Resize & Crop settings… or the add-on config button. You can adjust max width, crop amounts, and the list of affected note types at any time.
