Description

I made another small addon for Anki called Batch Mode. I like studying a big deck in small chunks instead of seeing 500+ cards and feeling like there is no end to it lol. You can technically do something similar by changing the limits in Deck Options, but changing them every time I want to do a small batch gets cumbersome. So I made an easier way. Batch Mode adds two buttons next to each deck. +10 is the default, but you can change the batch size to whatever you want. πŸ”΅ Blue = New + Learning 🟒 Green = Due Reviews New and Learning are combined in the blue batch. Learning cards are picked first, then the remaining spots are filled with New cards. So if your batch size is 10 and you have 3 Learning cards, you get 3 Learning + 7 New. If you have 10+ Learning cards, you'll just get 10 Learning cards. If you start a batch of 10, do 2 cards and leave, the remaining 8 will still be there when you come back. There's also a Rebuild button. It just fills your current batch back up to whatever size you chose. If you have 6 left in a batch of 10, it keeps those 6 and adds 4. If you already have 10, it does nothing. Once you answer a card, it's done for that batch. If Anki schedules it again later, normal Anki scheduling takes care of it. Your normal deck and Study button still work as usual. Batch Mode is just a quicker way to break a big workload into small chunks without constantly going into Deck Options and changing limits. Made this mostly for myself because doing 10 + 10 + 10 feels way less painful than looking at 900 cards πŸ˜‚
