🏁 Race Through Your Reviews!

Reviews are taking too long? Anki Race keeps your mind moving at top speed!

🎮 Game Modes

Anki Race features two playstyles:

1. Normal Mode (Standard Race)

Race against a CPU opponent that moves at a constant speed calculated to cross the finish line in your chosen target duration (e.g., 5 minutes). Complete your card reviews before the CPU beats you to win!

2. Escape Mode (Pursuit Chase)

You start with a head start (distance advantage), and a CPU pursuer chases you down. Complete all due reviews in your deck before the pursuer catches up to you!

⚙️ Extreme Customization

Tailor the arcade bar to match your aesthetic:

Overall Layout: Change the height of the race bar shown at the top of your review screen.
Vehicles: Use emojis or upload custom image files (including animated GIFs) for both your car and the CPU car, and adjust their sizes and vertical positions.
Background Styling: Choose between a solid background color or a texture image that tiles and scrolls infinitely at your chosen speed.
Advanced Road Track Layout: Place custom road tile images or emojis. Choose between a single fixed element or a looping pattern with custom spacing, and toggle scrolling speed to create a dynamically moving animated road!
Nitro Boost: Activate a flashing nitrous flame effect behind your car when you maintain a consecutive streak of correct answers (Good/Easy), which remains active as long as you keep the streak alive.

🚀 How to Play

Select any deck with at least one card due.
Go to Tools -> Anki Race -> Start Race.
Every card you rate (Again, Hard, Good, or Easy) moves your car forward along the track.
(Optional) Enable the deck overview button or configure a keyboard shortcut in the settings for one-click access.
