Note: Only works on PyQt6 version of Anki This addon will automatically synchronize your collection with AnkiWeb at time intervals you can choose. It will never interrupt you while you are using Anki. USAGE By default, the first sync will start 1 minute after your last activity. While Anki is sitting idle in the background, it will sync every 10 minutes. You can change those settings in the options dialog. To avoid interrupting you while you're using Anki, the addon will not sync under any of these conditions: - Cards are being reviewed - Dialog windows such as the Card Browser, the Add Cards window or the Preferences window are open - The main window has focus (is not minimized or in the background) This behaviour also can be changed in the options dialog. If you want to see what the addon is doing and if it's working correctly, open the options dialog and click on "Show log ...". KNOWN ISSUES For some people the sync process will bring the Anki window to the foreground, which is disrupting, but on many/most systems this seems not to happen. Try the plugin and see if it works for you, it probably will.
