Description

NOTE: This add-on is no longer maintained. It may not work on newer Anki versions. Lets you specify a hotkey for each note type, that you can use in note editor. (in Add Cards) Pressing the hotkey will switch editing note's note card to the specified. Modify the add-on config before using it, or it won't work. (List of special key names: https://doc.qt.io/qtforpython/PySide2/QtGui/QKeySequence.html ) This addon may not be compatible with other shortcut addons that override anki shortcut-making functions. You would have to ask their developers to update their addon. It is however compatible with 'Customize Keyboard Shortcuts'. If you get an error saving config, check that all lines of shortcuts has a comma at the end, and that the last line of the shortcuts does not have a comma at the end. And that each line is structured in the following way: "Ctrl + Shift + 1": "Basic", Also, you can't change note type in note editor other than in Add Cards, but the addon isn't smart enough to realize that so it shows that little popup that says the note type changed even when it didn't.
